delivery options

Choose among our air mail and courier delivery options to have your Seitz Roundshot product delivered to your door.

Swiss Post Priority

Ideal for cost-effective shipments, Swiss Post air mail combined with local post service is available for many countries.

Tracking code:
available - a Swiss tracking code that converts into a local tracking number once the shipment is processed through customs

Inco terms:
DAP - delivered at place
Delivery is paid door-to-door, but the customer is responsible for the payment of customs clearance, duties and VAT. These costs are invoiced by the local post service to the recipient and are payable either in cash or by invoice.

Swiss Post GLS

GLS is the best choice for business-to-business deliveries with cashless and automatic and virtual payment of VAT within European countries. This delivery service benefits from EU customs clearance, which means faster customs processing times and VAT cash advantages.

With Swiss Post GLS your product is first shipped by post to the Swiss border, where GLS takes care of European customs clearance. This process allows very fast clearing of goods and VAT declaration by a European Tax Representative. The final delivery is intra-EU and without payment of VAT, which means that the recipient only needs to declare the purchase in Intrastat.

Inco terms:
DDP - delivered duty paid

Requirements:

  • Shipment to EU or EFTA country
  • Customer with European VAT number
  • Customer with EORI number

DHL Express

Available for virtually all worldwide destinations, DHL Express is the best choice for time-critical deliveries that have to meet short deadlines.

Insurance of your product during transport

All shipments that leave the Seitz factory are covered with comprehensive insurance at no extra cost for our customers.

EORI number

Business customers in the European Union are required to indicate an EORI-number when importing goods from outside EU. Apply for an EORI number by contacting customs authorities in your country. For example in Germany:

>>> apply for EORI

Factory visit + pick-up

It is also possible to visit us in Switzerland to pick up your equipment. In this case we will prepare the commercial invoice and an e-dec VAT form for you. Once the bar code of this form is scanned at Swiss customs on exit, we will reimburse 8% Swiss VAT.

Please be advised that you will need to arrange customs clearance yourself at the point of entry and that this process is not always straightforward. In particular, when transiting through other countries, customs declaration can prove to be difficult. We therefore advise our visitors to have the product shipped by Swiss Post, Swiss Post GLS or DHL.
