This past Sunday, 11 November 2018, marks the 100 year anniversary of Armistice Day, the day when the Allies of World War I and Germany signed an agreement for the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front of World War I.
Armistice Day is commemorated every year on 11 November in rememberance of the end of WW1 in the UK, France, Belgium, and many other countries.
Commissioned by "The Telegraph", this gigapixel image documents the instant when the Prince of Wales laid the wreath at the Cenotaph to honour those who gave their lives in war.
The image was created with a Fujifilm GFX 50s with Fujinon GF 250mm lens on a Roundshot VR Drive with USB image release on a Gitzo tripod, audio by zoom H2N with Ricote windjammer
Congratulations Drew for documenting yet another historical event in high resolution!
